2011 Aspirations

When I rang in the new year, my sister and I decided to get ride of bad juju and just embrace good energy. I never makes lists bc I know we all just forget them by Feburary. But this year I had made some SMALL goals I wanted to accomplsh
1. Pay off 2 credit cards ( already did ONE!!!)
2. let go of bad energy and embrace the good
3. Become a better friend
4.Start meditating again
5. QUIT starting new projects and NOT finishing them :)

Although this is just a fraction of the goals I wanna accomplish I feel its enough so I dont feel overwhelmed. I have a big year ahead of me and really looking forward to it. But one day I know I DONT want to see soon is March 23rd. I cant believe a year has gone by, my heart still hurts just thinking about her. i know she is a constant in my life bc I feel her. So embrace those around you a little more often, Time is too short

Inspiration

Before i go to bed I wanted to do a quick post.So Im doing my target customer profile for Design class, YES! I am now designing MY OWN STUFF!!! sooo excited and here are a just a few things that inspire me :)
* I love the lyrics in this song and how it relates to my girl who is transitioning from high school into college

I LOVE this because it reminds me of my friend Kassandra and they are so darling

She lives in a very woodsy town and she enjoys exploring it with her camera

AND she is a dancer. So elegant and graceful, whatching her is like being in a trance.

haha ok ok SOooooooo it has been WAAAAAAy to long and Im sorry. I've neglected the blogging world. BUT this does NOT mean that I haven't been reading my bloggies. Update

I met Ara in Math 102 (Mr. Phelps) but we never talked, 2 yrs later she became our program person and lived right next door to me. We became friends and she has this AMAZING spirit about her. A totally real chica who isn't afraid to tell it like it is. So my friends give her some support as she embarks into the BLOGGING world :)

Yep SUMMERTIME is here and I look forward to it.

For my sister

okAY okay!!!So I know that I have been M.I.A and my News resolution went OUT the door. LOTS and LOTS of stuff going on in my life. Some good some bad. So here we go:
Jan- Started off AMAZING!!! Started fashion school which made me SUPER nervous cuz you know I LOVE TO COMPARE myself to others when I have to realize i am my own person. I Graduated/Walked at the end of the month and the aftermath was NOT pretty. Needless to say I woke up with a trash can between my legs.

Feb-Took my Dad out to the casinos and spent 12 WHOLE hours there. Did we win? NOPE, but we did spend quality time juntos. What else bout this month? Can't remember.

March- Ugh this month I HATED with a passion. The biggest thing that I could remember that I know I can never forget is they day March 23 around 6:30p.m I get a call from my cousin/godsister that my Godmother lost her battle to Pancreatic cancer. I couldn't break down right then and there b/c I was in midst of traffic but as soon as I got home all was lost. Till this day it hurts, she was my mom, the other person I could count on to tell me everything would be ok. I hold sooo many regrets, and I wish I could to turn back time to make it work but I can hear her tell me to keep my head held high and no crying.Those days were a blur, I can't remember anything else but the pain, and the idea that her soul was no longer apart of this world, that I no longer had someone who would call and leave a voicemail saying " Que olvidastes de mi?" No Nina I can never forget you. Who I am today, you helped my mom mold me into. So gracias Nina, Gracias por hacer como mi madre y tratar me como tu hija


April- Ugh overwhelmed with projects and what not.Springbreak? HAHA no dice.
Currently- Finals are done, I get some more hours at work which Im thankful for. And I booked my tickets for July :) Im heading out to the BIG state of TEXAS to visit the fam-bam WHICH im sooo stoked to see. Especially my Aunt/ Uncle and COUSINS :) eeeeek. But I am NOT excited to endure the heat ughhhhhh
